Colonel Michael E. Peck, USA (Ret.), served in the U.S. Army for over three decades, from 1967 to 1998. Throughout his distinguished career, he held multiple leadership roles, including Chief of Training for the U.S. Army Reserve Command. His service included combat deployments during the Vietnam War, where he led as an Exploitation Platoon Leader and Recon Team Leader with the elite MACV-SOG, conducting covert operations across Southeast Asia. Peck’s extensive military career saw him involved in several high-stakes operations, including JTF-Bravo missions in Central America and Operation Just Cause in Panama. He earned numerous awards for his bravery and leadership, including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with “V,” and two Purple Hearts. After his military career, Peck continued to contribute, working with General Dynamics Land Systems and serving in various leadership roles within his community. His legacy of service, both military and civilian, exemplifies dedication, bravery, and leadership.
